Live Performance
Nothing is more intimate than a live performance. It combines the tension of watching a tightrope walker traverse Niagara falls with the corageousness of a personal confession. Embracing the bittersweetness of being too old to cling to dreams of punk authenticity, but WAY too young to pop on a stool and sing torch songs, Chris's maturity as a performer is only now coming in to maturity. Chris brings power, intimacy, and emotional highs and lows rarely found in a solo performer.

Chris's Music
Chris released his first album in 1988; a homemade LP on cassettes reproduced one at a time, stuffed in to cases with jackets printed at the local xerox shop. Since then, he has recorded in numerous styles with indie self-reliance running through his veins. Check out the discography, and connect with his new songs and projects.

About Chris
Neary 40 years ago, Chris got a boombox for his 11th birthday. A Sanyo with detachable speakers it featured a cassette player/recorder, and AM/FM/Shortwave (yes, shortwave) bands. Late at night in the dark of his bedroom he tuned the dial, and discovered a whole new world. New Wave. Heavy Metal. Indie FM stations out of New York. Public access out of Philly. This was not the local AM station playing old folk, his mom's Beatles or his dad's Clapton. The world opened up, put his feet to tapping, and created a lifelong love affair with music.
